The Magic of the Orient

Description

The ‘Magic of the Orient’ concept was based on the interplay of light, sound, textures and the colours of the fabrics. We created an atmosphere inspired by Oriental culture and Bollywood films.

The event took place at the Kleparz Forts in Kraków.

The dimmed interiors allowed the full potential of the EasyLight battery-powered lighting system to be realised, lending the space depth and rhythm. Warm colours, soft transitions between zones and the highlighting of details emphasised the oriental character of the design.

The atmosphere of the event was enhanced by Bollywood and belly dance performances, sets by female singers and a DJ, as well as visuals from classic Bollywood films. In the chill-out zone, guests could enjoy henna tattoos and hookahs. As part of the chill-out zone, a private shisha bar was set up where guests could smoke hookahs free from tobacco and nicotine.

We’ve also set up a few photo zones: a rickshaw, a photo booth and an oriental Instagram corner with seating. Each of these has been designed with the event’s social media shareability and the overall visual consistency of the event in mind.

Forty Kleparz was transformed into a space brimming with colour, sound and emotion, transporting guests into the world of Bollywood. EasyLight lighting accentuated the set design and set the tone for the entire event.
